University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC)

As the Digital Media Specialist for UTMC, I was in charge of our social media as well as managing the website for the hospital.

I was responsible for creating graphic, video, and written content in order to present a unified brand and protect UTMC’s reputation across all platforms.

Additionally, I pioneered podcasts at UToledo with a series of interviews with providers at our hospital and established a video series of provider PSAs.

Social Media

Managing the social media for UTMC, I developed and deployed a content calendar and grew daily engagement by an average of 246%. I worked to continually improve brand standing within the community.

I led our social media through our Covid-19 response and a brand relaunch. Additionally, I launched a ‘Faces of UTMC’ program to highlight our stellar staff and boost employee morale.

Website Design and Management

As a web manager, I handled requests from many different departments while deftly balancing conflicting asks and managing all daily update needs. I am well-versed in HTML/CSS and Google Tag Manager.

I optimized the UTMC website for mobile and kept over 1400 pages up to date for an average of 30,000 monthly users.
